As promised earlier... here we go with another iconic custom figure from the game X-Com.
Done starting from a resin print of an STL file obtained rendirng a .DAE file extracted from the game by the fantastic Sutinoer (thanks mate once again!)

Thank you!
I want to take 10 minutes to thank you.
I started this blog on Tuesday, December 13, 2011.
My first post was titled: "first post."
That was a full 15 years ago, and the conclusion of that post was: "Hope you will enjoy what (if) will appear here."
After 15 years, the spirit and purpose of this blog remain the same.
I knew it would be a "niche" blog; I didn't expect huge numbers, and I thought it would naturally die out on its own with the end of the Eaglemoss CMFC collection.
I wasn't looking for glory; I'm not interested; it's just a hobby.
And I was sure it wouldn't last long. Evidently I was wrong, because I'm still here writing to you today.
The blog has had its moments of fame and its moments of being shut down for years while I dealt with my son's illness.
And yet, today we're still here.
Many things have changed: I've gone from using suitable materials to modify some parts of lead figures purchased at newsstands to now using 3D printers, e-sculpting software, and even artificial intelligence to produce e-figures that can be modified and then printed, to bringing customs to life with animation programs that create a video from a photo, and finally to even independently producing the music for my YouTube video tutorials.
It has been and is a long journey.
I'll share the numbers from this journey with this photo I've attached below.
I have to thank you all for taking a moment to stop by and see what's happening on this blog.
I thank everyone, especially the followers from Singapore who just can't get enough of me: thank you!
What am I about to show you?
I have two XCOM miniatures ready to show: Advent Priest and Advent General. The last six of the second XCOM wave will follow, hopefully by March.
And then... we'll start again with the sixth Marvel wave, where you'll only see miniatures 100% sculpted by me on SculptGL. It'll be a veritable tsunami of customs. I'm waiting for you!
Skif
Custom N°73 in my CXFC Classic Xcom Figurine Collection.
That collection is starting to be bigger and bigger... but still othe 8 figure and then it will be the time for MArvel Wave 6!
Have fun with the video Tutorial buddies, hugs from your neighborhood Skif!
Dear followers, here we have another Advent Trooper to show.
STL file taken for free from internet (search in Reddit), print with Anycubic Photon Mono 7, customized using green Milliput and painted by me.
One of the "must do" list for a complete Classic Xcom Figurine Collection (my own personal CXFC) finally ready: The Outsider.
It is one of the most controversial unknown characters in the saga of XCOM.
In X-Com 2 extension War of the Chosen you will face three though opponents, the expansion in fact introduces three elite alien-human hybrid warriors tasked by the Elders to defeat XCOM and recapture the Commander: the first of those I customized is the Warlock, who uses psionic powers and can take control of several of the player's units at once.
And here is the video of the making, hope you like it"
