Shadowland

Here is the last character before some shadowland picture.... Black Tarantula!!

Shadowland (with Black Tarantula)

Black Tarantula (alone)

and finally the last character to complete the group of Invader's foe.... Baron Blood!!

Ok, now I'm really run out of chars ready for painting, it will take some day to complete the Wips, at this moment only Thunderstrike and The Cru...

Lady Bullseye

Born in Japan, the young girl (it has not been revealed whether Maki Matsumoto is her birth name, or an assumed one) who would become Lady Bullseye was imprisoned by the Yakuza, who planned to sell her and many others into sexual slavery. However, Bullseye, on an unrelated errand, arrived to slaughter the mobsters. The sight of Bullseye effortlessly killing her captors inspired the girl to escape and become a killer.

Serpent Society strikes again!

Had time to finish finally The Living Laser already introduced last week. Here it is, hope you like it!

Some posts ago I presented also one of the Serpent Society wip's, that is Bushmaster. I finally painted the Bushmaster and here it is how the guy appears... (waiting forward for your comments!) What do you think about the green I choose? And about the position?

Another member of the Serpent Society (it seems they'll never finish... still other three in my wish list....) is Boomslang. Briefly:
Boomslang was created by Mark Gruenwald and Kieron Dwyer, and first appeared in Captain America #341 in May 1988. (Courtesy of Wikipedia).
Boomslang infiltrated the Serpent Society along with Coachwhip and Rock Python after Viper's invasion, and stayed with the group for a short time. He is an excellent hand-to-hand combat fighter, and uses snake-shaped sickles called "serpent-rangs" as his weapon of choice. He was notoriously incompetent among the other members of the Serpent Society, and many super heroes couldn't take him seriously. (Wonderful then for my collection... ghghghghghgh!!).

byezz!

Back to Customs

As promised Here I'm!

Just few news this weekend. First I updated TT after receiving any suggestions regarding Texas Twister, someone claimed for the hat and too long mustaches. Here is it how it appears today:

I finally finished a new work (not a custom, just 100% new), God's Eye.

The Godseye weapon was a threat to any nation possessing nuclear weaponry, but it eventually became a menace to the entire planet when its intelligence surpassed what was initially intended. S.H.I.E.L.D. had been trying to destroy the rogue space station for years, but the Godseye would simply neutralize and assimilate any weapon thrown at it. Finally, Nick Fury came up with what he thought was a foolproof plan to destroy the Godseye. He sent the Hulk into space to demolish the Godseye, thinking there would be nothing for the weapon to assimilate. Here is in his humanoid form. I used Green Milliput for the rough parts and Magic Sculp for the fine works.

Last but not least, The Living Laser!! Hope you like it. Made starting from a resin copy of Iron Fist from the official Eaglemoss colection. I think I'll do some changes in the face painting (just adding some lights and shadows) as sooner I'll have few minutes...

byezz!!

weekly update

Get it!
A 454gr Super Sculpey grey firm arrived friday! I cannot be in my skin to wait to try it!!
But still have to wait until custom number 300... only after that I'll try to start doing heroes also in other format rather than EM Marvel Collection, and I'll do it with Super Sculpey and... finally.... without rush for each piece...
I have to say that I know I rush with my custom, consider that I need a avarage of 4-8 hours per piece, from the resin to the finishing... it was beacuse my son... eheheheheheh! He doesn't give me longer time and if he catches some Wip around the home the end is well known.... not later than yesterday he discovered and 'kidnapped' a resin copy of Hulk (that I was taking for Davos) and a resin copy of Antman (reserved for Shockwave....)...
In these two years I choose since thew beginning to do only Eaglemoss customized, only Marvel Comics chars and above all not repeating chars already done by EM (I 'll buy them all!!!!) and no variants at all...
So today... It is official, I'll stop my customs with the number 300 of them. Still some road to walk for that issue, but not so long. I took the final decision about  my last 36 custom. Number 300 (the 37th) still to be choose. Here the 36 selected are:

Neutron
Jackpot
Victoria Hand
Baron Blood
Death Adder
living laser
Strife
Black Tarantula
Diamondback
Fer de Lance
Doctor Demonicus
Thunderstrike
Hawkeye Girl
Black Spectre
Tamara Rahn
Equinox
Lady Bullseye
Alkhema
Hyperion
The Spot
Mach IV
Phyla Vell
Goblin Queen
Boomslag
Attuma
Mentor
Spymaster
Fang
Maelstrom
Gravity
Bushmaster
red shift
Korath
God's eye
The Cru

The green one have been already started, well, better say that most of them are already sculpted and need only to be painted.
I'll be out for work the whole next week, so I choose to leave you at least with a WIP, Bushmaster.
Many versions seen of this character, all very static on my personal point of view, I wanted something different, that's why the angled position caught in the act of striking an attack.

I'll be back next weekend, hope to have time enough to paint the new Texas Twister (many claimed for the cap too large and the mustache too long, so I corrected it consequently. With a little bit time longer for the custom I hope to finish sculpting God's Eye and The Crue. And maybe finally to update the whole gallery at the link that youn can find bannered at the and of this page....

Hope to meet you again in a few days :)
have a nice sunday!

New Eaglemoss custom: Texas Twister - My number 263

Courtesy of Wikipedia:
Drew Daniels was born in Amarillo, Texas. He is working as a cattle hand at a ranch when a tornado and radiation from a nearby nuclear reactor affect him at the same time. The net effect was to give him the power to generate tornadoes at will.
Thanks to bombardment by radioactive particles during a tornado, Texas Twister has the psychokinetic ability to accelerate air molecules to high velocity, thereby creating a tornado-like mass of swirling wind around him. Although he usually creates the tornado with himself at the center, he can create tornadoes up to 100 feet (30 m) away from his body. He can control the size of the tornado at will and can create a tornado 200 feet (61 m) in diameter with outer winds moving at speeds up to 225 mph (362 km/h). Such a wind swirling about his body is capable of lifting him off the ground and supporting him in midair. He has superhuman reflexes, and various abilities enabling him to withstand the rigors of motion inside a tornado, such as denser skin to prevent unwanted heat loss, friction burns, and particle abrasions, enhanced eyesight, and a high degree of resistance to dizziness and motion sickness.

Such a weird character could not miss the collection!!

I made his custom starting from a Eaglemoss Antman resin copy, creating the cap in Green Milliput and everything else in Magic Sculp. Colored with Lifecolor and Citadel.
Hope you like it!

I still have to archive in my main gallery (the one that you can reach through the banner in the bottom of this page) my last six custom: Warrior Woman, Phobia, Iron Cross, Coachip, Rictor and Texas Twister of course.
This should be done not later than this week... stay tuned to the main gallery also! byezzzz...!!!!

Ops! I was forgetting... WIP: Lady Bullseye, Black Tarantula, Baron Blood and Bushmaster... gosh! We need a bigger boat!

Rictor

Courtesy of Wikipedia:
Introduced in the late 1980s as a supporting character in X-Factor, Rictor appeared in Marvel comics for ten years under the pens of a number of different writers; much of his character development in this period came from Fabian Nicieza's run on X-Force. The character returned to publication in 2005 with the X-Factor vol.3 and has been written by Peter David continually since then. Responding to fan interest in the gay subtext surrounding the character in Loeb's X-Force run, Rictor's kiss with fellow teammate Shatterstar in the pages of X-Factor vol.3 in 2009 became the first depiction of a same-sex kiss in a mainstream Marvel Comics publication. Since then, Rictor has been written as an out gay man who is fully accepting of his sexual identity, and one of few gay superheroes in the Marvel Universe.

Warrior Woman

Warrior Woman.
The character first appears in Invaders #16 (May 1977) and was created by Roy Thomas and Frank Robbins. I participated in a contest with this custom and arrived at last place as usual... hihihihihi!

Coachwhip

Member of the Serpent Society and lately seen in Spiderman: Brand New Day, without her polarized visor, Coachwhip  was created by Mark Gruenwald and Kieron Dwyer. Her first time was in Captain America #341-342 in May-June 1988.

Oh my!!?? Did you also were catched by her shirt??!! Yeah, you're right, I missed that black line... what a mistake! Here is it! :)
Finally completed Coachwhip.... my number 261....

april 1st

Here is Phobia...
(from Eaglemoss Titania, customized and repainted, white milliput for modifications)

One of the Inhumans genetically bred by Loki to be part of an assault squad to help him conquer Asgard.[1]

and as promised Iron Cross.... (Iron Cross, Helmut Gruler, from Eaglemoss Colossus copy in resin, customized and painted).
Helmut Gruler is a World War II German soldier that first appears in the title Invaders. Gruler volunteers to wear armor created by Professor Franz Schneider for use against the Allied forces. Using the alias Iron Cross, the character creates havoc until apparently killed during a battle with superhero team the Invaders.[1]
The character reappears in the modern Marvel universe in the title Midnight Sons Unlimited, having apparently been saved and sustained by his armor.[2] The Iron Cross is revealed in the limited series to be a founding member of the modern version of the V-Battalion, a secret group dedicated to hunting down war criminals. The character apparently dies preventing the spread of nanotechnology throughout the world by terrorist organization HYDRA.[3]

Hope You like it!

Stay tuned... Baron Blood, Rictor, Coachwip and Bushmastrer coming soon...!!
